Information about baby feeding bottles

If you are seeking information about baby’s bottles we would like to reassure you that there is absolutely no risk to your baby’s health.

Our bottles are made from polycarbonate – as are 95 per cent of the feeding bottles available worldwide – and there is no credible evidence that they can do harm.

As with all baby products made from plastic we would recommend that if worn, scratched or cracked you discard them for new ones.  And just to re-iterate our feeding guidelines, please don’t use boiling water when making up bottles. Let it cool in the kettle – for up to half an hour – before adding it to your freshly cleaned bottles.

We constantly monitor information from bodies all over the world and we can confidently reassure you that polycarbonate bottles, including our award-winning Closer to Nature™ range, are all perfectly safe to use.

In common with all the leading manufacturers we are looking at alternatives and by the end of the year we will be offering a choice of safe and environmentally responsible materials so that parents can decide for themselves.

Please refer to our latest statement on polycarbonate in the News section of the website.
