Q: How do I clean my Easiseal unit?

We recommend that you clean out your Easiseal unit with hot soapy water.

In the unlikely event, that your bin starts to smell, bicarbonate of soda should solve the problem. Sprinkle it liberally into the bin and leave overnight. Then rinse out with water, and the smell should have disappeared.

Q: How long will my cassette last?

The cassette will last for around one month on average but will vary on the size of the items being wrapped. As a guide, our in-house tests showed that the cassette would wrap up to 140 of the 175ml pads or up to 80 of the 800ml pads.

Q: How many used pads can I get into the unit?

The number of pads that each unit holds really depends on the size of used pads being disposed in the unit. For example, the Standard unit can hold nearly 40 pads of 175ml and holds nearly 10 pads of 800ml capacity. The Maxi unit can hold over 100 of the 175ml pads and almost 20 of the 800ml pads.

There are two cassettes available for your Easiseal disposal unit. Light Odour protection uses a standard anti-bacterial fragranced film which is ideal for light use.

The Extra Odour protection uses a multi-layer anti-bacterial film and has a stronger fragrance to give you ultra protection against odours.
