Closer to Nature triumphs … again!
Tommee Tippee’s Closer to Nature range has the Midas Touch – and it’s official.
In last week’s Mother and Baby Awards – the equivalent of the Oscars in the baby world – our Closer to Nature bottles won Gold … for the second time in just two and a half years.
Mother and Baby magazine editor Miranda Levy told more than 500 guests from the nursery market at a gliittering black-tie dinner at the London Hilton that mums had loved the easi-vent anti-colic teat and the way it flexes and stretches to mimic the breast during breastfeeding.
She also revealed that one of the mums who put the bottles through their paces during the time allocated for testing had called them ‘the perfect package’ … easy to use and clean and good value for money.
Eight bottles from top brands were shortlisted in the Best Bottle category after a detailed review by a panel of experts at Mother and Baby magazine as well as a number of mothers from across the UK who formed part of a formidable 4,500 strong testing force.
Since the Closer to Nature range was launched in March 2006, we have been proudly accepting compliments from mothers who acknowledge that the ultra soft teat allows them to combine breast and bottle feeding simply and without fuss, meaning they can breastfeed long after they may otherwise have given up (read What Parents Say About Us on this website).
And at the Baby Show in Manchester at the weekend, Closer to Nature was once more top choice among mothers who can see at a glance just why the unique teat really does work like a breast.
