Tommee Tippee helped more than 100 mothers in the North-East celebrate the 60th birthday of the NHS on Saturday with special gift packs for all babies born on that day.
The company donated boxes of Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature breast pads and teething teddies to the 16 maternity units throughout the NHS North East region to mark the milestone birthday.
Said managing director Steve Parkin: ‘Millions of mothers have gone home from NHS maternity wards over the years to use our products and while Tommee Tippee is now the world’s fastest-growing baby brand it’s fitting to mark such an auspicious day with birth-day gifts from the company in our own area.’
Ian Dalton, chief executive of the North East Strategic Health Authority, said: ‘We would like to thank Tommee Tippee for so generously helping new parents and babies celebrate the special day that they share with the NHS.’
